Melissa Ramsey
CMCA, AMS, LSM, PCAM
Melissa began her career in the private club management sector as a lifeguard, gradually advancing into management roles. Twenty years ago, she transitioned into community management while working at an onsite master-planned community association in Nevada. Recognizing her passion for the industry, Melissa took on increasing leadership roles in organizations across Nevada and the Carolinas. Her goal is to offer proactive management with a personalized touch of hospitality.
As an active member of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), Melissa has served on both the local and national levels of the organization. She is currently the President of the CAI Board of Trustees, with a focus on the health and wellness of the industry and organization for the year. Melissa's term on the South Carolina Chapter Board ended in 2024, and she also completed her term on the National Managers Council in 2023. Over the past three years, she has been a session presenter at the national CAI conferences as well as at various local chapter events throughout the country.
Over the last 15 years, she has obtained industry designations of CMCA, AMS, LSM, and PCAM. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communications from the University of North Carolina – Chapel Hill, a true Tar Heel, being born and raised in North Carolina.
In her spare time, she enjoys being a mom to a 15-year old daughter and 9-year old son who keep her busy with their activities, while also making time for her own health and wellness.
